“Guardian Angel” was Joanne’s first angel to be painted in her angel series.

“Guardian Angel” will always be special in that she was the first. Guardian Angel, as well as all of Joanne’s original angel paintings, are painted without the use of brushes. The paint is applied using her bare hands. Detail is incorporated by the use of flower stems and twigs, to apply the paint to the canvas.
